Next we will actually change the subnet. To do this, open a terminal and do the following:

cd /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion

Now we need to open the file “networking” in an editor. I typically use vi but use whatever

editor with which you’re most comfortable. You will want to change the

VNET_X_HOST_ONLY_SUBNET to reflect the required 192.168.199.0. See the screenshot
