*1 This value can be changed by either of the following procedures:

▪ From Windows GUI, click [Tools] - [Report Settings] on AlertViewer to open Alert Manager, click

[Setting] - [Base Setting] - [Receive] tab, then click Configure button.

▪ From Web GUI, click [TCP/IP Report Settings] on the AlertViewer.

*2 The value can be changed only from NEC ESMPRO Manager's Windows GUI.

To change the setting, click [Options] - [Customize] - [My Manager] on the Operation Window of

Windows GUI.

In addition, if Inter-Manager Communication is being used, the Neighbor Manager setting must be

changed. (Inter-Manager Communication is the function only implemented by Windows GUI.)

To change the setting, click [Options] - [Customize] - [Remote Manager].

*3 You can change the port number from the setting on the EM card.

*4 You can change the port number from [Tools] - [Port Settings] of AlertViewer.

Adding a Firewall exception is unnecessary.

If the Use SNMP Trap Service is set for the SNMP trap reception setting, use

"%windir%\system32\snmptrap.exe."

The SNMP trap reception setting can be checked by either of the following procedures:

▪ From Web GUI, click Alert Receive Setting and check the [SNMP Trap Setting] on the

AlertViewer.

▪ From Windows GUI, click [Options] - [Customize] - [My Manager].
