Data Mover ports

VNX5700 consists of two Data Movers, which can be configured in an active/active or

active/passive configuration. In this solution, the Data Movers operate in the active/passive

mode. In the active/passive configuration, the passive Data Mover serves as a failover device

for the active Data Mover.

The VNX5700 Data Mover is configured with two UltraFlex™ I/O modules with each consisting

of four 1 Gb interfaces. It is configured to use Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) with all

Data Mover ports as shown in Figure 11.
