During steady state, the memory configuration of an ESX host from the ESXTOP is shown in

Figure 44. We overcommitted the memory by 98 percent and saved 92,476 MB using

transparent page sharing on a 96 GB machine. The swapping to FAST Cache-enabled disk is

about 1 percent.
